History

The Eagle’s Nest Bar & Grill is located on historic grounds. Starting in the late 1800s, anxious city dwellers from Ohio and Kentucky boarded the Cincinnati Northern train to escape oppressive summer heat and humidity. Lured by cool breezes and sparkling spring fed waters, they came to relax at one of Michigan’s finest destinations—Clark Lake.
